Keating Machine Website

Keating Shelley contacted me in need of a new wesbite. At the time he only had a simple, out of date website that needed a lot of love. He wanted a place to showcase the complex products that he manufactures in house and let everyone know at a glance what he sells. He needed the flexibility to add new products with a picture gallery due to each product being very complex in size and shape. He also wanted a site to showcase his work and be able to link to other dealers. Most importantly of all, he needed to update the site himself.

The biggest challenge was the development of the products area. Since each product is massively different from the last, the single page had to have options. These options could allow for a page to have more information or less depending on what was needed. Therefore, we settled on a design that would incorporate a five picture gallery and tabbed information. The best part is that it only shows the information that is needed or used, so if Keating didn’t need three tabs, only one was shown.

So, without any type of website development or in depth technical training, Keating is able to create a complex product page and upload it directly to his website. He can arrange the products in the order he sees fit. He is even able to put all new products in specific categories for better organization.
